We ususally post this event in the morning, but afternoons have plenty of options.  Let's see what birds are out in the afternoon. The rabbits will be, and maybe some other creatures worth photographing. You may want a longer lens and a tripod depending on what you find.

This is an easy pave trail walk.

Description: The TVA Wetland Viewing Area and Trails has has birds from cardinals, gold finches, ducks, great blue herons, turtles, and lots of other things including Bugs Bunny.  It is an easy walk on the paved trail. As you enter parts of the wetland area you may think you are back on a farm.  What we don't see on the way in, we will on the way out.  Bring your long lens as you may find it will work the best for some of the subjects you wish to photograph.

What to wear:   Dress comfortable for the weather.

What to bring:  Camera, Tripod, water, snacks and whatever you need to be comfortable photographing around the trail and water.

Walking required: The amount of walking you do will be entirely up to you and how much exploring you want to do. It is about one and half miles round trip on a easy paved trail that we will spend most of the time on. There are some other trails that you may want to check out.

How to find me:  Red Jeep Wrangler

Driving directions:  Use Google MAPS:  TVA Wetland Viewing Area and Trails. It will take you to the parking area using exit 350 off I-40.  This is about a 45 minute drive from Knoxville.
